Ruddy Nice Awards recognise defence employers

The Ruddy Nice Awards were the culmination of the three day Defence, Simulation Education and Training which allowed the military, government, academia and industry to identify the challenges and innovate to find solutions.  Mrs Peaches Golding OBE presented awards to two businesses that uphold the promises of the Armed Forces Covenant by employing  and supporting reservists and veterans in employment.  ‘I found the conference terribly interesting.  It enabled the sharing of best practice and identification of practical solutions by wargaming potential scenarios and dilemmas’, Peaches said. ‘It was a pleasure to meet organiser Tess Butler and delegates from a range of UK and international industry experts.  The wargaming underlined the importance of diversity of thought in decision-making’.
