Peaches appointed VP of Royal Bath and West of England Society

At its Annual General Meeting on 24 July, Mrs Peaches Golding OBE was appointed a Vice President of The Royal Bath and West of England Society, along with the Lord-Lieutenants for Somerset and Dorset. Accepting her badge from President Robert Drewett, she enquired whether she might wear it during the rest of the evening. His Majesty The King is the Patron of the Society, founded in 1777 to encourage agriculture, arts, manufacture and commerce. ‘It is such a pleasure to join the experienced and committed leadership team of the Society where we can celebrate and promote the rural and business heritage of the area. The Showground is home to a number of excellent shows, including the Bath & West Show, the Dairy Show, Field to Food Learning Day and organises a number of awards, grants and scholarships to further its charitable remit,’ Peaches outlined. The Showground is also available for hire for conferences, meetings and other uses
