Official opening of Origin workspace

Phase 1 of Origin workspace, the brainchild of entrepreneur Heather Frankham, was officially opened by H M Lord Lieutenant Mrs Peaches Golding OBE at a ribbon-cutting ceremony in the 42,000 sq ft building at 40 Berkeley Square. One of the few locations in Clifton where start-ups and scale-ups can accelerate their business ideas, Origin specialises in businesses that use ditigal technology as a core driver for their business idea and is already 80% occupied. Origin provides flexible working space and meeting rooms and also offers a gym and rooftop terrace with views across Berkeley Square, The Triangle and beyond. 'Bristol has a great new business ecology, with professional support, business development advice and a growing number of places where entrepreneurs can establish and grow their businesses. Such an entrepreneural environment is essential in enabling Britain to remain as one of the top of the economies worldwide; Origin workspace has an important role to play in this regard,' remarked Peaches Golding.
