Exercise Sandhurst Thread

As an Advocate of the British Army Multicultural Network, Lord-Lieutenant Mrs Peaches Golding OBE had the pleasure of attending a reception to celebrate the work of the Network and to meet a group of young potential officers drawn from a range of minority ethnicities at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. The two day event included being a guest of Major General N D G Cowley OBE, the Commandant of Sandhurst, at the impressive Commandant's Parade. Among the guests attending the events were the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, David Lammy MP. Brigadier Karl Harris spoke of the opportunity for the British Army to continue increasing the numbers of minority ethnic officers and the tremendous value it brings to the Nation.
