Eighty-fifth Annual Barneys Club Dinner

Forty members of the Barneys Club celebrated their annual dinner at the University of Bristol's Wills Hall.  The Club, founded in 1931, brings together students  to discuss any topic of their choice every other Sunday.  President Colonel Jane Thompson DL  and Mrs Peaches Golding OBE, H M Lord-Lieutenant for the City of Bristol, was guest of honour.  Following her speech, the three handled silver Loving Cup was passed round.  I enjoyed meeting so many interesting and talented young people,'  Peaches explained.  'The conversations were stimulating and I am sure these young people will have bright futures ahead of them.'
