Edinburgh Royal Military Tattoo and Royal Yacht Britannia

Lord-Lieutenant Mrs Peaches Golding OBE CStJ RNR was a guest of Vice Admiral Andrew Burns CB OBE at the Edinburgh Royal Military Tattoo.  Prior to travelling to Edinburgh Castle, the invited guests enjoyed a sumptuous dinner on board the Royal Yacht Britannia, alongside in Leith. The Tattoo was held in the presence of Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and The Duchess of Edinburgh.  The programme featured the Armed Forces of the UK, Switzerland, USA, Poland and, the Ukraine on their first performance since the full-scale, illegal invasion of the country by Russia. 'The Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukrainian and traditional dancers performed with precision and tremendous impact,' Mrs Golding reflected. Along with pipers, drummers and Scottish dancers, the setting of the grounds of Edinburgh Castle provided for an inspiring and uplifting evening.
