Celebrating UWE Talent!

Oh What a Night! UWE Bristol welcomed Lord-Lieutenant Mrs Peaches Golding OBE as the keynote speaker to  their prestigious Celebrating UWE Talent Awards evening.  The event, sponsored by a number of local employers including DE&S as the main sponsor, celebrated the achievements of the University’s diverse students and graduates in employability related activities.  It was wonderful to hear from students volunteering in remote parts of the world, and those making huge differences as interns, and others even setting up their own successful businesses, and terrific to hear from the organisations who worked with the students and were so impressed with them.  It highlighted how many opportunities there are at UWE Bristol to develop yourself whilst engaging in your University degree, and demonstrated that your University career really can transform lives!  The Students were brilliant.  Peaches delivered a fabulous keynote, highlighting that University is a great place to succeed, a safe place to fail, that each opportunity is a learning experience and it’s OK!  #UWEBristolTalent
